Oh wow… I’m the 1 vote for Hilary >.>
I’m not surprised by the Obama support but I am by the Ron Paul support. I voted for Hilary because I think she can get the most accomplished. I’m not sure Obama is realistic enough to work with Congress and actually get stuff done. Plus, I understand how Hilary can get stuff done. Obama seems to think just because he has great ideas they will work.

I will never understand the appeal of Ron Paul.

Barack, for no other reason than he is the most genuine candidate of them all. It is time for us to have a real person in office.

There are too many reasons for why I’m voting for Barack Obama to list here.

ron paul supporters rule the internets!

WAR

I’m voting for John Mccain because we need a president who won’t run away from America’s problems. If we had a world of peace; by all meanss I would vote Obama. This is not the case. Peace is a fantasy not a reality. We need a smart military leader to heal the mistakes Bush has made. Obama has no experience with military operations, where Mccain is ideal. Running away from a war will get us nowhere. Haven’t you ever heard of the phrase, “you break it, you buy it”. This is the case! Iraq cannot afford the damage we’ve done and never will be able to. We can afford it. We need to include the rest of humanity, not just pretend we’re the only country in the world. If we leave Iraq with no government, and nothing rebuilt. It will turn into an abondoned beautiful country, and will become a terrorist headquarter. Removing from the country would only be cowardly.

TAXES

Obama has planned to raise taxes even higher which is predicted to put many small businesses and farms out of business. Small Businesses are the backbone of this country. If you want to pay even more for your groceries by all means vote Obama. Many people are not educated with the theory behind conservatives tax the working class and go easy on the rich. First of all if you tax the rich higher than the working class. Say goodbye to all major donations to hospitals, schools, charities etc. That is the responsibility of the wealthy is to give back, and for the working class to give what they can. I’m in the working class but I recognize what needs to be done.

Hilary

I consider her attempt at president offensive. The idea that an immoral person who cannot keep a decent relationship with her husband wants to actually run our country? Many people argue that Bill could help her and guide her to being a good president. I thought we already had a president like that? I dont want another president who needs help in office.

John Mccain 08- a promising solution to what seems impossible

check out this page on the dailykos and view the youtube clip.  I think it is a solid arguement many people on the left are making for why we need to make a critical choice this November.... do you want the person who says there will be other wars or the person who is willing to sit down and talk with foreign leaders?

There are a lot of sound bites in this one and that tends to be a bit unfair but I still think it’s an important video to see.  The Republican Party has been really consistant at letting us all know that they will make us safer, but there is another arguement with that and this video is it.

WARNING, due to graphic war images, it’s not suitable for children.

I’m not from the US but if Europe was asked I think the winner would be BARACK OBAMA. You can see that if you remember how OBAMA was celebrated in Berlin when he held his speech.

I myself would be clearly for OBAMA. And I’m really happy that OBAMA has -according to statistics- already won in Hawaii.

Foofighter1, everything you have said in the topic post is ridiculous. How can you say John McCain “knows” how to win a war. If you look at your history he has never been involved in war time decision making, ecspecially not one that has led to a victory. Obama does not make small businesses go out of business. If you own a small business that makes more than $250,000 than I do not consider you a small business. Also, if you say donations will decline that is simply not true, seeing as how almost every donation you will ever make is tax deductible. That’s how people such as Bill Gates get away without paying hardly any taxes, because they are good people and have already given plenty back to the community!

John Mccain is the only way to go in this election- Obama supports partial birth abortion, gay marriage, and socialism.
Yeah, Mccain may not be the best of the best, but I will pick a Bush II over a Marx III

I know talking points from pundits are easily regurgitated, but let’s be a little analytical on what we say. Also, you need to focus what you write a little more as it is all over the place, I’m not saying this as a “burn”, just constructive criticism. That said, Obama’s opinions on how to deal with the war are not very different from what our original intentions were going to be to end the conflict; Empower the Iraqi gov’t to run it’s own country in a democratic fashion. We are not in the business of imperialism, and it is necessary that our next president takes a look at working to put the strength of the Iraqi gov’t to work. You also said that Iraq, a country rich in resources, could not “afford it.” With the resources it currently has, and the right leadership in place Iraq could easily work towards becoming another Dubai. Also, the ISX has been performing grandly.

In many ways, I hope you are a writer of satire. Do you really think that, if given higher taxes, the richest members of the country will stop donating money in which they can write off when they file taxes? Seriously?

And I think most people are familiar with the conservative tax policies, and I’m sure you were trying to sound smart, but you came off smug and condescending. As I read that paragraph again, I am beginning to think you don’t understand the trickle down concept of the right…

Wow, the blatant sexism in that paragraph. I am in no way a Clinton supporter, but to demean her experience like that is astounding.

Since your post alludes to “family values”, I am hoping that you know that John McCain has been divorced. Gasp! And Sarah Palin has a soon to be bastard Grandchild!!! ZOMG!

As I was typing this whole thing, I didn’t want to demean you in anyway. But as I read it over and over I began to feel like it was my job to do so. So for the love of god, please respond because I can’t wait to see what hilarity you create next.

John Mccain is the only way to go in this election- Obama supports partial birth abortion, gay marriage, and socialism.
Yeah, Mccain may not be the best of the best, but I will pick a Bush II over a Marx III

Where do you get your information?

Obama has never supported Gay Marriage. He has supported civil unions, and I talked to this really, really, flamboyant guy and he was all like “Giirl, Civil Unions is what you straighties want to give us so we don’t steal your little word Marriage. Seperate but soooooo unequal!”

I figured I should make it as stereotypical as possible since that seems to be the theme of this thread from the conservative side.

Gay or no gay, what do you have to say about partial birth abortion and socialistic leadership? Do you think that puncturing a hole in the back of a baby’s head (third trimester- 24 wks (6 mos_ and up) so that you can yank its brains out while it is still alive is humane, let alone should be LEGAL?

And let’s not forget about “spreading the wealth"- $250k or less? you have got to be kidding/ ThAT is called a CEILING my friend. WHY should I sustain an effort to work hard at what I do for a living- own my own business- be successful, if when I get to that “magic number”, I will be paying out the butt hole for taxes?
The answer is, I won’t. (not if that is the case- unless I work hard just to work hard and not to make money) And other people won’t either.

Under Obama, we will have a work force just like France. 4 days a week of work- six months off a year- and no production- no profit- no reason to succeed.

Like I said, McCain may not be the spectacular, but his track record shows he will not support partial birth abortion or socialism in this country.

And I support McCain.

How Much Would You Pay in Taxes?
Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain both say they’ll cut federal taxes if elected. Here’s what their proposals would mean for you.

Obama McCain
If you make…
you’d save… you’d save…
less than $19,000 $567 $21
$19,000-$37,600 $892 $118
$37,600-$66,400 $1118 $325
$66,400-$111,600 $1264 $994
$111,600-$161,000 $2135 $2584
$161,000-$227,000 $2796 $4437

If you’re in the top 5% of earners…
you’d pay an extra… you’d save…
$227,000-$603,400 $121 $8159
$603,400-$2.87 million $93,709 $48,862
more than $2.87 million $542,882 $290,708

If your annual salary is less than $112,000, you’d pay less in taxes under Obama’s plan; if your salary is higher, McCain would cut your taxes more. “While the aggregate tax cut is bigger for McCain, a larger number of voters get more money under Obama,” says Alan Viard, a tax-policy expert at the conservative American Enterprise Institute. “Obama is choosing to emphasize tax cuts for the middle class, whereas McCain’s strategy is to keep rates lower at the top as a way to facilitate long-run growth.” For example, a person with an income of $1 million could see his taxes increase under Obama by as much as $94,000, whereas under McCain’s plan he could save about $48,000.

I tried to make it easier to read but it didn’t work.  You can always visit the website to make it easier.

And you can go here to see the tax caculator…

And to note, Barack does not support third term abortions(did you watch the debates Jennince?)… but he wants a woman to have the right to choose IF her life depends on it.  Do you honestly disagree with that?
