Effect on Mediocre Bad Guys

I’m sure this has been discussed here before, but there’s no way to search these forums, so I’ll ask.

Does anyone know what effect the guitar player is using on Mediocre Bad Guys?  I’m thinking it’s either Flanger or a Vibe (Leslie simulator).  Does anyone know what specific pedal Jack/his guitar player uses on their board?

Thanks
CJ

I really donīt know, but I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH, too me, is one of my favourites…

the guitar in that song sounds like Jimi Hendrix!

I was waiting to see if you’d get an answer from someone who actually knows.  It sounds like an old Uni-Vibe or a pedal called an Auto-Wah (pretty much what it sounds like).  Without going nuts you can get a reasonable approximation of this sound with a standard chorus pedal.  Turn the Rate (or Speed, etc.) way down and the Depth (Intensity, etc.) up as far as it will go without actually making the guitar sound out of tune.

The effect I hear personally is a Dunlop uni-vibe pedal. It does chorus/vibrato. I believe Pink Floyd used this same pedal.

Them mediocre bad guys can really bring you down.
Well, you know the ones that I mean.
Not so good, not so bad, only know what they have, and they have only what they’ve seen.

They can’t be defeated and they’re never gonna come around.

Sorry…I know this is a specific musical information thread, but every time I see the topic title I think of another favorite lyric(s) and had to let it out…here, in this somewhat fitting spot!
