Pre-Sale Gorge Ampitheatre - Washington

I got 4 tickets - but they’re all GA and when I checked the seating chart, looks like the GA is on the lawn :S That’s not where I’m going to be, is it? I bought the tickets at 1:00 EST on the nose!!

Yea I was right on it as well, all I could see listed was GA. I looked at another site & they’ve got it listed as festival seating. Guess it will be a mad dash for the seats:-)

At least I got seats, I got totally screwed on the whole Kokua afair. I didn’t get my password until 3-hours after the tics went on sale. My wife and I have gone for the last 4 years, but really don’t want to give in to the scalpers!

Cheers

Ooh boy, better be getting there early :S

Anyone else know anything about this?

Really weird, some venues are selling GA PIT, GA RES & GA LAWN. I hope their not going to leave it to a foot race. I’m sure this would create quite a mess. I’m hoping that the tickets will come with seat assingments based on the order we bought them.

I really hope you’re right - that would stink if I got lawn seating when I did it as fast as I did.

ANd its not like its a convenient venue either - its like a 2 hour drive from Seattle so to get there for the doors to open at 5, we’d have to leave at noon just to get decent seats! :(

The Gorge does a lot of festival seating. the entire venue is GA. Good Luck and wear good sneakers. Also the Sasquatch Festival is all GA

Soo it’s first come first served huh?

Got any advice other than getting there early?

I just got my confirmation, damn still listed as GA:-( I’m still holding out hope that they’ll be doing some type of seating assingment. I did lawn seats at the Kokua festival 4 years ago and people were in line at 7:00 am. Basically your there all day in hopes of getting a decent spot.

Here’s hoping :(

I don’t think I can get there early enough to get good seats - I’m going with my aunt and I’m hoping they’ll want to leave Seattle that early :( I don’t know, I’m kind of disappointed about this. I’d feel much less anxious if there was assigned seating, even if it wasn’t that good. Oh well, atleast we’re going to see Jack :)

Im 100% certain it is all GA. Gorge does this often. I have no clue how they let people in. Im going to the Jersey show and it is set up the same way. But they do have a Pit, which is separate from the seats.
Good luck all

For last years Kokua festival I ended up having two extra tickets for 15th row center seat. I sold them at face value & a beer for me and my wife at show, Marion if your out there I hope all is well for you.

I CAN’T STAND SCALPERS & WILL NOT HELP SUPPORT THEM. I’m hoping that my aloha spirit last year will provide me with a little help this year. To everyone going to show, at least we got tickets and as we all know Jack will put on another incredible show!

I can’t seem to log on to the pre-sale page, I need tickets for the gorge any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Anastacia

I linked on through the tour tab on this site, http://jackjohnsonmusic.com/tour/detail/2008/08/22. Once there I clicked on the Gorge and was taken to the ticket site, password is allatonce. I hope you get through, I’ve been hearing some other stories of this password not working.

Best of luck

Thank you so Much! I was able to log on and buy tickets!
You are a sweet heart and much appreciated!

Many Blessings,
Anastacia

Definitely GA. The gorge is the best venue I have been to besides the Greek Theater in Berkeley. The sound is amazing and although you may not be right up front I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. However, I dig being able to bring blankets and veg out on the lawn and just take in the music, people, sunset and gorge rather than trying to battle the crowds down below. It’s Jack . . . the sound is all you need :)

You can camp at the Gorge campgrounds and walk to the show from there. Those tickets are sold via ticketmaster. I am not sure if Thursday night camping will be available, but you will be able to find out once the tickets go on sale to the general public.

So, for those who are disappointed, no need to be. You’ll love it there.

You can also pay for camping the day you show up. No need to buy online.
