i research sustainable systems all the time and work in the ecological development field to help humans live with Nature. I came across a technology that was developed at the University of Hawaii which uses flash carbonization techniques to take things like rubber tires and turn it into high grade activated charcoal as well as clean energy. No air pollution, no smell, and very affordable. So why is this not being used everywhere? Is it that the universities of the world have wonderful technologies and they just never make it out of the lab ? There is a company in Hawaii that is making these affordable systems called Carbon Diversion? Has anyone heard of them?
