Jul 03, 2008 04:15am KRK Total Posts: 26	I just bought the exclusive to iTunes album, iTunes Originals, I know a lot of people are against buying from iTunes but every Jack fan really needs to check this out. It’s 13 recordings of Jack’s songs that you can only get on this album with explanations of the songs and different stories told by Jack relating to each song before it plays. This album truly is amazing. On some of the songs he adds and subtracts different instruments from the album version. Plus there are a few really good covers that Jack does. If it helps some of you who are against buying from iTunes, digital albums produce absolutely no waste or greenhouse gasses. There is no packaging, no plastic cd case, not even a plastic cd, no one had to drive anywhere to bring you this music and neither do you. Buying from iTunes is as green as buying music can get. I think thats the way Jack would want his music to be bought and sold.

It is just so wasteful with all that packaging. iTunes does have its downfalls, but as long as you keep it organized (which I am terrible at;-)) it really is a good thing. Just my 2-cents....


Jul 03, 2008 04:46am obxsurfergirl Total Posts: 3	The iTunes Originals album is totally worth it. Any Jack fan should buy this. I just wish a portion (at least) of the proceeds went to Jack’s charity. Still seriously worth the money. And the environmentally friendly part doesn’t hurt either :-)
