here ya go, nogali…a new discussion:
have you seen this flick and what did you think??
My opinion? I thought it was absolutely outstanding(except for the part with Bono, because I can’t stand him.) Amazing film, great acting, great covers of the beatles, pretty to watch.
BTW.. has Jack ever done a beatles cover??

I’ve never heard of the movie… but Jack did do a cover of John Lennon’s Imagine. You can find it on iTunes on the Save Darfur- Instant Karma cd (something like that). His voice is so sweet I can’t even sing a long to it!

yes, it is absoultely amazing. It is a musical and all of the songs are beatles covers and all of the actors (except even rachel wood) are pretty much unknown. if you haven’t seen it, i highly, highly recommend checking it out. I love it.

Loved the movie the first few times I saw it but got burnt out on it pretty fast especially when teachers started playing it in school after tests and such. I’m gonna have to wait a few months before I can handle watching it again. Regardless it has to be one of my favorite movies in a long time.

Bono? in general, he’s a prententious(sp?) d bag. I also supremely dislike his singing voice, and all of U2’s music… I’m not trying to start an argument, this is just how I feel… a lot of people try to change my mind, and let me just say it up front… that’s not gonna heppen anytime soon!

Oh, and I agree, after seeing the movie a couple times.. it’s really gets to you.. i couldn’t get “dear prudence” out of my head for like 2 weeks!

The movie is a work of art!
My favorite scene is where the singers are laying in a green windy field of tall waving grass, singing in perfect harmony the Beatle song, “Sun King.” Gave me chicken skin.
