I am not sure if this is the appropriate place to start this thread, but it’s been a question in my head for sometime now and after seeing the new video, I was hoping to hear something about a CD release or something. Rob, plays some great low-fi music - He needs to make a CD and who better else to support him that BFR’s?? I recently stumbled across a little treasure. Doing some catch up on my reading over at SurfingMag.com and back in 2005, Rob, Tom Curren, Hagan Kelley, and some of the guys from Switchfoot (Jon,Tim,Chad)all went on a surf trip in Platanitos, Mexico. While there (not sure if impromtu or planned) they recorded 4 very cool AfterSurf tunes and one of them is Rob’s - check it out below and you can download them for yourself. I labeled the make shift band “Platanitos” Anyway, has anyone heard if Rob is joining or planning to work with Brushfire?? |
