Verizon Wireless (socal) Volunteers…

When any of you guys find out or get an email response, will you please post up here and let me know? I received an email today (7/14) in which I had to give some more personal info. Please let me know!

-april

im just curious if they send our all responses in one day or what.

ANYBODY?? Hm....

guess not.

Hello April,

I received an e-mail like yours but still waiting if I’m going to be chosen.  Have you heard any response yet.

Thanks Lori

I havent received anything since that day. But that’s what I meant - just anything kind of response at all. Thanks!

HI April.

I received the same email as you did. I had to provide name, cell, email and t-shirt size.
I have not received a confirmation yet. I already have tix (orch.) for me, the wife, the son and his girlfriend. If I do get chosen, I will give up my ticket to one of my son’s friends that loves Jack. She was bummed when she found out we were going. It would be a nice surprise to tell her she can go. They would go to the venue with me and hang in the parking lot, having lunch till the doors open. I would meet up with them after the show. Bummer I won’t get to see it with them. I would also be bummed if the seat I bought turns out to be better than where the volunteers get to watch the show from. But it’s still pretty cool to help out the allatonce community. I will let you know if I hear anything more.
cheers!

Here are the rules:
1) Volunteers submit applications via the All At Once website volunteer form.
2) Applications are read over and an initial cut is made, based on the application paragraphs.
3) The top volunteers are e-mailed and given 48 hours to reply to that e-mail with a requested information.
4) The first 25 people to respond to the e-mail are given priority for volunteer spots.
* Volunteers who respond within the 48 hours but after the first 25 people are put on a AAO/Reverb volunteer wait list.
5) Volunteers are then confirmed over the phone - in the case of a missed call, are given another 48 hours to call back.
* After 48 hours, spots will be filled with people from the wait list.
6) Once all volunteer spots are filled, the rest of the volunteers will be given the opportunity to volunteer with HeadCount and Climate Counts, two other great groups that are on the road with us this summer.

We are on Step 3. I don’t know If i responded to the email that I got fast enough. It came in at @1:30pm and I didn’t respond to it until @6:00am the next morning (about 17 hrs later..)
So i don’t think I was in the top 25. We’ll see. It would be nice if they let you know if you were in the top 25 or put on the waiting list…

Thanks for letting me know!

I hear you on the ticket thing. I myself bought tickets for my husband and I, and I figure if we volunteer instead, I will sell the tickets - and I agree it would be a little bummer if the volunteer seats weren’t that great, I was thinking the same thing. But I was willing to give it up to volunteer.

I got the email requesting more info, but my husband did not - thats the main reason for this post. I was seeing if maybe they were still sending some out. I did email them however, and asked if there was ANY way we could both do it together b/c if not that would involve us driving separate vehicles and that would be a total waste. I figured they MAY just help me out on this one and MAYBE pull a few strings if I’m lucky. We’ll see =/

I don’t know if i’m in the the 25 people to respond either though. O well, we’ll see!

Good Luck..I hope they don’t give him my spot...J.K.
Either way, we’ll get to go and it will be fun.

Bummer, I got my reply..

Reverb has filled all of its volunteer positions; however if you are
still interested in being involved, please contact the tour’s other
non-profit partners below. There are plenty of other opportunities to
represent these groups at Jack’s show and be a part of the All At Once
Village Green.  Please read below for contact information, and we hope to
see you out at the show!

How about you?

ha. i was just going to post the SAME exact thing. Yeah, major bummer. Are you going to try climate counts or headcount?

That depends on

A. if they have room and
B. If I still get to see the show.

I don’t mind volunteering, but I also don’t want to waste the ticket I bought either.
I am still going and now I get to enjoy it with my family.

I hear ya 100% on that!

Volunteering would have been a MAJOR + but I figure, my husband and I can go now and be together to enjoy the show.

Maybe I’ll see ya there and I can’t wait for the show!!

either way, have an AWESOME time (a little more awesome of a time for me too cuz I know you have great seats wink)

I am stoked to be able to do my part!! I get to volunteer at the Irvin show! =)

Hey all! Just to let you know a few things…
Headcount and the other orgs are in the Village Green along with the All At Once Volunteers! And you have just as much fun!

The Volunteer seats are just gen admission, so if there is a lawn, you sit on the lawn.

I was with the All at Once Volunteers at the Cuyahoga Falls show, and the other orgs were right next to us.

I also just finished a volunteer show with DMB, and again, the other orgs were right next to us!

The Headcount people are really cool, I actually signed up to volunteer with them on a few shows here in Ohio. (OAR, G-Love, Garcia, etc)
It seems they choose less people to volunteer, so I would get your request in ASAP!

Im not sure who all (Orgs) will be there, but the Crocs volunteers seemed cool as well!

I hope this helps and Good Luck!
