I live near WIlmington NC,a surf and fish community. Unfortunatly some of the people we have put into office have been offering titan cement our tax dollars as a bonus insentive to construct there cement plant here, in castle hayne. Incedently a grass roots org. has formed to educate people like me, and get a loud enough voice to be heard. It is going to be something like the 4th largest cement plant in the us, and we are a fishing and surfing community. I dont understand what the benefits would be for our politicians to lure them here. It will provide something like 150.00 jobs. help us scream yes to clean water and air! http://www.stoptitan.org |
