CERES (the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies) is a community environment project located beside the Merri Creek in Brunswick. CERES aims to foster awareness and action on environmental and social issues affecting urban areas. The site has displays and demonstrations, including an urban orchard, green technology, and worm farms, to show just what can be achieved at household, community and global levels.
City Farm Perth
Perth City Farm started in 1992 as a environmental resource centre and has grown into a spectacular demonstration site for green city living. City Farm promotes environmental awareness and responsible practices by providing information, training and hosting community-based projects. City Farm also supports the local music and art community through regular concerts, festivals and exhibitions.

Climate Coolers is a not for profit, women-led initiative to cut CO2 pollution and are building a network of women across the country to engage Australians everywhere to take action on climate change.

NAJU, the German Youth Association for the Protection of Nature, is representing over 80.000 young members all over Germany. We are the biggest environment organisation for young people in Germany. To protect nature and the environment we are offering a framework for children and young adults aged 6 to 27, focusing on environmental education and practical nature conservation.
NAJU- Rheinland-Pfalz

Our statewide leadership, coupled with locally based training helps coordinate and direct the commitment and passion of our members into effective action on such issues as protecting wetlands and natural areas or preventing pollution from factory farms and landfills.
Oro Verde
In Germany, Oro Verde focuses on environmental education, tropical forests, and promoting the exchange of information between nature conservation organizations, industry, science and politics. TreeUtah
TreeUtah is designed to facilitate planting projects, lend technical support and oversee local plantings, organize and mobilize volunteers, educate and train the public in tree stewardship, and serve as a catalyst in developing the community alliances critical to Utah's future. In 2006 TreeUtah's Statewide Urban and Community Forestry program planted 306 trees with 3400 volunteer hours in a number of Utah communities.
