YOU CAN VOTE GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY INTO OFFICE... LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD.
The Jack Johnson Tour is partnering with voter education and activation organizations around the world to encourage everyone to use their voices to create positive change. In Australia, we are collaborating with the Australian Conservation Foundation to educate about sustainable policy change that will lead to a healthy environment for all Australians.
AUSTRALIAN CONSERVATION FOUNDATION
The Australian Conservation Foundation is working to address climate change and encouraging political parties of all persuasions to embrace a cleaner, greener Australia to ensure a sustainable future.
The Australian Conservation Foundation’s National Agenda for a Sustainable Australia is encouraging political leaders to:
1) Cut greenhouse pollution to avoid dangerous climate change.
2) Restore rivers and secure urban water supplies.
3) Build smart, sustainable cities and towns.
4) Protect and strengthen the natural environment.
5) Secure a sustainable future for Northern Australia, and the Asia Pacific.
6) Promote a bi-partisan commitment to environmental reform.

Seattle Youth Garden Works (SYGW) empowers homeless and under-served youth through garden-based education and employment. Their goal is to connect youth to housing, health care, education, jobs and community. This photo is part of an All At Once collaboration of nonprofits involved in the Jack Johnson Village Green at the Gorge on August 22. The Seattle based “Youth in Focus” made a site visit to SYGW to take photos of volunteers working in a community garden.
