Jack traveled to Washington D.C. and performed during President Obama’s historic inauguration at the Home States Inaugural Ball.  Enjoy some photos from this magical evening.

Jack is headed to DC to play President Obama’s Home States Ball!

The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) announced today the line up for several official events for the 2009 Presidential Inaugural celebration.  Jack will perform at President Obama’s Home States Ball along with Common and the Don Cagen Orchestra on Inauguration Night, Tuesday, January 20th.

“The talent we have selected reflect the diverse musical traditions of our nations, truly making this ‘America’s Inaugural,’” said Emmett S. Beliveau, PIC Executive Director.  “As we seek to make this the most open and accessible inaugural in history, we have selected a full slate of top recording artists that we think will provide something for everyone.  This will be a celebration for everyone.”

Jack is very excited to go to Washington for this momentous occasion.
