The Green City Blue Lake Institute facilitates planning and implementation projects to help the Greater Cleveland area reduce its ecological footprint and build a positive identity as a green city on a blue lake.

HeadCount, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to voter registration and participation in democracy, joins the Jack Johnson tour on the road and is also representing Vote the Environment. HeadCount was created in 2004 by a group of artists, music industry pros and fans who believe music, expression and freedom are all intertwined. To date, HeadCount has registered more voters than any other all-volunteer group in the country.

The Ohio Environmental Council is a network of thousands of individuals and over 100 local groups from nature clubs and river protection organizations to landfill reform groups and sportsmen. Our statewide leadership, coupled with locally based training helps coordinate and direct the commitment and passion of our members into effective action on such issues as protecting wetlands and natural areas or preventing pollution from factory farms and landfills.

The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. As part of the tour, Surfrider is launching their "Rise Above Plastics" campaign to educate the public about the dangers plastics pose to our environment, and what each of us can do to help reduce these impacts.

The Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance (SBA) is a non-profit organization created to promote sustainable biodiesel practices, including the harvesting, production and distribution of biodiesel fuels. The SBA is working on best practices for sustainability in biodiesel. The ultimate goal is to create a system of certification for sustainability in feedstock, production and distribution for biodiesel in the United States.
